i spent approximately 4 1/2 hours on this baby. i know blending is easier with oils, i have quite a bit of experience with them. however, i wanted to practice doing it with acrylics because the colors are so much more vivid and you can layer them almost endlessly and they just get deeper and not muddy like oils do when you do that.

when i was looking at this, trying to think of a title, it reminded me of that utterly silly homemade "toy" that kids make sometimes, or at least they did when i was a kid, prolly they all have cell phones now! at any rate, you've probably seen them--two tin cans connected by a piece of string and one person talks in one end and the other listens on the other end and vice versa. the more i think about this, the more absurd it seems. i have to wonder what the point was and what anyone got out of it. i think i'm doing my usual over thinking!
