thank you so much! i was thinking of a comet, but i alreay (a long time ago, tho it is in my gallery, did an oil painting of a comet) and i started thinking about it and i thought--fireworks! and that it looked very much like it was moving fast sooo..hence the title. i'm really glad to know i achieved the look of movement. i spent a really long time putting layers and layers and layers of color on, as i'm sure you already know, i've found that doing that with acrylics gives them a lot of depth, whereas with oil it gets muddy looking.

Agree! I'm not good at blending oils. Or maybe I'm not patient enough

This is an awesome painting!!! You really captured the movement, it's like a comet falling down to earth.

Oh I didn't know that you were bi. Actually my sister is into girls. So I know it from close quarters too. And know how normal it is :) True we need more people who are open-minded on this subject. I think it is happening. Even in India, which was closed-minded till some years back.. a lot of people are coming out.So it is cool. We are moving in the right direction
